Prayer at Brookside
Prayer is at the heart of who we are at Brookside. It connects us with God, shapes our lives, and reminds us of His constant presence. Through prayer, we find comfort, strength, and grace as we deepen our relationship with Him.
We invite you to join us in building a culture of prayer—a community that uplifts and supports one another through every season of life.
The heart of prayer
Prayer is more than words—it’s a conversation with God where we meet Him in the middle of life’s joys and struggles. Through prayer, we align our hearts with His will, find peace that surpasses understanding, and experience His grace in new and profound ways.
Scripture reminds us: “Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:6–7 NLT).
As a church, we want to encourage and equip you to grow in your prayer life. Through prayer, we not only see God move but also come to know Him more deeply.
Join us in prayer
Prayer is a big part of Brookside and is woven in the fabric of who we are.
Prayer is an important aspect of our Life Groups, Missional Communities and Pods.
You are also invited to our monthly online prayer gathering (11am on the third Wednesday of the month). Watch for the link that gets published in the Brookside Brief email newsletter.
You might also be interest in taking part in our prayer ministry, whether by receiving the prayer list or by letting us know how we can pray for you.
