Giving to Brookside
Your generosity fuels the ministries of Brookside Baptist Church and helps us serve our community and beyond. There are multiple ways to give:
Online giving
Giving by e-transfer is the easiest way to support the ministries of Brookside Baptist Church.
- Add etransfer@mybrookside.church to your e-transfer recipient list.
- Give directly from your online banking service using e-transfer.
If it’s your first time giving via e-transfer, send an email to etransfer@mybrookside.church with your full name and mailing address so we can track your giving and issue a tax receipt at year-end.
Cash or cheque
You can give by cash or cheque:
- In-person: Place your cash or cheque in the offering box at the back of the auditorium. Please use an envelope and include your full name and mailing address to receive a tax receipt.
- By mail: Send to 1078 Klondike Road, Kanata, ON, K2K 1X7.
Pre-authorized debit
To set up recurring pre-authorized debit, please contact the treasurer for assistance (see contact form below).
Designating funds
All donations go to the General Operating Budget unless specified. You can also choose to give to:
- Special Missions Project Fund – Supporting extra missions projects.
- Compassion Fund – Helping our community.
- Church Growth & Development Fund – Funding large-scale property development projects.
To designate funds, use the “message” field for e-transfers or the “memo” field on cheques. For cash, please clearly indicate the designation on an envelop.

1. Will I receive a tax receipt for my donation?
Yes! To ensure you receive a tax receipt, include your full name and mailing address with your offering. For e-transfers, email your contact information including full name and mailing address to etransfer@mybrookside.church. For cash or cheque, use an envelope with your details clearly written. Receipts are typically distributed annually in February.
2. Can I designate my gift to a specific fund?
Absolutely! You can designate funds to the Special Missions Project Fund, Compassion Fund, or Church Growth & Development Fund. Use the “message” field for e-transfers or the “memo” field on cheques to specify your designation.
3. How do I set up recurring giving?
To set up recurring pre-authorized debit, please contact the treasurer for assistance. It’s a convenient way to support Brookside regularly! You can also set up recurring e-transfers on most online banking services.
